Lisa Carusone, MS, NASM-CPT, is a personal trainer and a classically trained Pilates instructor. She is a 2015 graduate of Duke Integrative Medicine’s Integrative Health Coach Professional Training Program. She has been part of the fitness industry since 2006. Lisa offers private and semi-private training at her gym in Waltham, MA. And, she travels regularly to train clients in the Boston/Metro West area.
Lisa has studied with first-generation and master instructors in Strength Training, Pilates, Resistance Stretch and TRX. And, she has complimented her training with continuing education in anatomy, corrective exercise, Continuum Movement and Structural Integration for the movement therapist.
Her clients include adults of all ages and life stages. She specializes in strength training for adults 55+. She is also recognized for her work with adults with chronic health conditions, pre/post surgery rehabilitation needs and orthopedic conditions.
Lisa’s students describe her as an encouraging and enthusiastic instructor, serious about helping them achieve their goals and committed to their continued progress and success. She excels at distilling complex, often abstract, concepts into exercises her students can do right the first time. And, she helps her clients make a life-long commitment to their own fitness and wellness.
Her professional background includes corporate regional and national marketing assignments for two international management consulting firms, management positions in the dot.com/technology sector and retained executive search experience. She earned her Master’s degree from Syracuse University’s S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communication.
