Lisa Carusone, MS, NBC-HWC, NASM-CPT, is a personal trainer and a classically trained Pilates instructor as well as a Duke Integrative Medicine Trained Integrative Health Coach. She is also a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. Lisa offers private and semi-private fitness programs, along with private and small group Integrative Health Coaching, at her gym/office location in Waltham, MA.
Lisa has studied with first-generation and master instructors in Strength Training, Pilates, Resistance Stretch and TRX. And, she has complimented her training with continuing education in anatomy, corrective exercise, Continuum Movement and Structural Integration for the movement therapist. Her fitness clients include adults of all ages and life stages, and she specializes in strength training for adults 55+. Lisa is also recognized for her work with adults with chronic health conditions, pre/post surgery rehabilitation needs and orthopedic conditions.
Lisa’s Integrative Health Coaching practice is dedicated to coaching for women in mid-life transition and reinvention. She has a unique specialization in coaching for women caregivers, specifically those supporting a loved one with substance abuse/addiction and/or mental health conditions.

Her professional background includes corporate regional and national marketing assignments for two international management consulting firms, management positions in the dot.com/technology sector and retained executive search experience. She is a 2015 graduate of Duke Integrative Medicine’s Integrative Health Coach Professional Training Program. Lisa earned her Master’s degree from Syracuse University’s S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communication.
